FAYE LOUISE BLOOM BOWMAN
1932 - 2011

It is with great sadness that the family of Faye Louise Bloom Bowman announce her passing on May 5, 2011 at the age of 78 years.
Faye was born Faye Louise Willis on November 20, 1932, to James "J. C." Willis and Minnie "Ida" Betterton Willis, the youngest of their 11 children.
Faye was raised in Cushing and attended Cushing Public Schools.
At the age of 18, Faye left home and began working as a nurse's aide at a hospital in Kerrville, Texas. At the age of 23, in Denton, Texas, she met and married the love of her life, Jesse Herbert Leo Bloom. Together they settled in Cushing and raised their five children. Faye continued working in the nursing field throughout her life, working at The Colonial Plaza, Rest Haven Nursing Home, and eventually as a private duty caregiver. After 40 years of marriage, Leo passed away in 1995. In February of 2002, Faye married Oliver "Bud" Bowman.
Faye loved life and was loved by so many. She loved taking care of others, whether it be her grandchildren, neighbors, or friends.
Faye always had a quick smile, an apple pie, or a hug to offer. She loved getting together with her family for a game of poker and going to the casinos with her daughters. She enjoyed doll collecting, reading, shopping for antiques, and working outside in her flower garden. She spoiled her dog, Rowdy, and loved her pet birds.
Her presence will be desperately missed by all of those who loved her so dearly.
Faye will be lovingly remembered by her husband of nine years, Oliver "Bud" Bowman; her children, Patricia Ann Belveal; Gary Lee Bloom and his wife, Toni; Steven Leo Bloom; Deborah Renee' Bloom; and Stacey Rachele Camren; her seventeen grandchildren, Angela Belveal Turney and her husband Lewis; Amy Belveal Anderson and her husband Nicholas; Shannon Belveal Doles and her husband Jacob; Christopher Belveal; Kyle Belveal; Emily Burris Wells and her husband Curtis; Heather Bloom; Jesse Bloom; Kacey Bloom; Morgan Wiley Sumpter and her husband Joe; Megan Bloom; Stephanie Bloom; Amanda Watkins; Nathan Watkins; Tyler Watkins; Haley Camren; and Preston Camren; as well as eight great grandchildren; Samuel, Ava, Mariah, Chase, Blake, Addison, McKinsie and Ashton. Faye is also survived by nine step-children, Gregg Bloom, Sheila Blair, Jeannie Burns, Joe Bowman, Mike Bowman, Mary Kennedy, Pat Bowman, Peggy Searcy and Kathy Ming.
In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her ten siblings; her late husband, Leo; and her beloved granddaughter, Kylie Bloom.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Hall officiating.
Burial will follow in the Osage Cemetery in Agra.
