1942 - 2013
Martha Elaine Carmack Berry, longtime Agra resident, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years.The daughter of the late Elvie Alfred Carmack and Louella McDonald Carmack, Elaine was born on April 30, 1942 in Clovis, California.Before coming to Oklahoma, her family moved to Arkansas when she was a small child where she was raised and educated.She was united in marriage to Kirby Paul Austin and later married to Dan Berry.Elaine never met a stranger.She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; she will be remembered for her love for cooking and providing for others. She would always remember and acknowledge everyone’s birthday. In the recent years Elaine enjoyed visiting casinos.Survivors include her children, Mark and Teresa Austin; Kelly and Tonya Austin; Shane and Amber Austin; Billy and Becky Jordon; Pansy Campbell; Kirby Jr. and Phyllis Austin; Etta and Marcus Cunningham; Henry and Valerie Austin; and Benny and Danah Austin; one sister Marilea Orum of California; nineteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Tiffany Austin and seven brothers and sisters.Graveside services will be Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Parkland Cemetery, with Brother Phil Pruitt officiating.Serving as Casketbearers will be George Maier, Chad Hale, Larry Austin, Calvin Jordon, Brandon Evans and Joe Wittman.The family will greet friends on Friday evening, October 25, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Floyd Family Center.
