LUCILLE BERRY
1918 - 2001


Longtime Lincoln County resident Lucille Price Berry died Wednesday in Stroud. She was 83.
Mrs. Berry was born January 26, 1918, in Ozark County, Missouri to William Harvey and Nancy Eve Upton Price.
She had lived in Lincoln County most of her life and was a member of First Baptist Church, Davenport.
She was a restaurant owner, nurse's aide and cook for Stroud Health Care Nursing Home.
She married Cecil Lee Berry on July 21, 1935, in Chandler and he preceded her in death on December 21, 1979.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, brother, two sisters and a granddaughter.
Survivors include two sons, Carl Lee Berry, Davenport; Charles Edward Berry, Tuttle; three daughters, Elise Fay Williams, Bristow; Arlene Vantrees, Oklahoma City; Lois Ann Gilbert, Davenport; three brothers, Coy Price, Mustang; Jack Price, Stroud; Ray Price, Glenpool; two sisters, Belle Castoe, Marlow; Betty Hildreth, Prague; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church, Davenport, with the Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating.
Burial will be in Davenport Cemetery.
Parks Brothers Funeral Services, Stroud, is in charge of arrangements.
