Janie L. Teal Bennett was born in Rhome, Texas on July 16, 1933 and departed this life in Oklahoma City, on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the age of 80 years.Janie was the daughter of Charles "Sim" and Burness Lloyd Teal.She was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma for the past 7 years.Janie was a Christian and a housewife.She married William F. Bennett on October 16, 1951.She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one brother and one sister.Survivors include her husband, William F. Bennett of the home, one daughter and son in law, Amy and Tim Sullivan of Stourd, one brother, Jimmy Teal of Wynnewood, two sisters, Juanita Argo of Oklahoma City and Mildred White of Pocasset, two grandchildren, Brittney Nichols of Oklahoma City and April Rogers of Stroud, three great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.Funeral service on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Stroud Christian Church in Stroud with Pastor Will Fine officiating.Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK
