JUSTIN DEAN BAKER
1995-2009
Justin Dean Baker, age 13 of Perkins, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2009.
Justin was born on August 28, 1995 in Cushing, Oklahoma.
He began school at Ripley at the age of three and was looking forward to entering High School this week.
Justin loved his family and friends very much.
He enjoyed music, riding his dirt bike, fishing, and hanging out around a bonfire.
He was a member of Liberty Free Methodist Church and was an active member of the Ripley High School Band, where he played the trombone.
Justin was a very loving and caring person. He cared about others and never let a day go by without telling his family that he loved them.
He is survived by his parents Dusty and Lisa Baker of Perkins; his sister Macee, and brother Jarin, both of the home; grandparents Bill and Lynda Grimes of Perkins; John and Ruby Ball of Agra; Rick and Sally Baker of Jay; great grandmothers Clydene Castor of Monett, Missouri; and Norma Leigh of Morrison; aunts Teresa Dees, Amanda Grimes, Laura Foreman, Savannah Robison, Sheila Burris and husband Keith; Melissa Cornell and husband Cecil; uncles Danny Turner, Bryan Ball, Barry Ball, John Dye, Brian and Amy Dye; a special great uncle and aunt Sam and Danita “Nannie” Savory; honorary grandparents Wayne and Arzella Dennis of Ripley; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday at the Oak Park Camp Ground in Perkins.
Interment will follow at the Oakdale Cemetery.
Reverend Edsel Hall and Reverend Harry Adams will officiate.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
A Memorial fund has been set up at Payne County Bank.
