VIRGINIA STRICKLIN BAILEY

Virginia Stricklin Bailey was born on September 26, 1919, in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma and departed this life on Thursday, June 8, 2006, in Prague, OK, at the age of 86.Virginia, the daughter of Luther Franklin and Grace Charlotte Fawcett Bailey, was a resident of Prague.She married Stephen B. "Steve" Bailey on June 7, 1941 in Prague. He preceded her in death on April 29, 1989.Virginia was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.Her parents and one son, L. Steven Bailey, also preceded Virginia in death.Survivors include grandchildren, Eric Bailey of Shawnee, Tina Stroup of Shawnee and Steven Dale Byrd; sister-in-law, Mildred Stricklin of Prague and three great-grandchildren.Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2006 at the Prague Cemetery with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating.Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
