BARBARA JO ARMS
1946 - 2015


Barbara Jo "Babs" Young Arms, was born August 23, 1946, in Chandler, Oklahoma, and departed this life August 11, 2015, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 68 years.
Barbara the daughter of Homer and Betty Jo Mitchell Young, was a resident of Chandler.
She married Bruce Arms on October 25, 1965 in Nicoma Park.
Barbara worked as a Executive Secretary for a pharmaceutical company for many years.
Her parents preceded Barbara in death.
Survivors include her husband of forty nine years, Bruce of the home; two daughters and son-in-law, Tracy and Jason Betts of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Brucie Laquet of Chandler; one sister, Pamela Kay Young of Moore, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, Gavin Laquet, Hannah Edmonds, Aubrie and Addilyn Betts, other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Allen Carson officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
