1930 - 2014
Marie Heizelman Anderson, a longtime Parkland/Agra resident passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014 in Stillwater, Oklahoma at the age of 83.Marie was born on October 23, 1930 in Kendrick, Oklahoma to the late Andrew and Nellie Vickers Heizelman.She grew up in Kendrick and attended Valley Center School.After high school, she married the love of her life, David Lee Anderson on October 10, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas. To this union Linda, Donna, Mona, Betty Joe and Patricia were born.They made their home on a farm near Parkland. They raised milo, peanuts, pigs, cattle just to mention a few. Marie had her own tractor to help side by side with her husband. She also raised a beautiful garden. Marie enjoyed fishing and playing pitch. Every year while their family was young, they enjoyed camping trips to Colorado. She loved being with her family.Marie is survived by her daughters Linda Marie Anderson and husband Gary of Tryon; Donna Lee Smith and husband Darrell of Oklahoma City; Mona Beatrice Inskeep and husband Jeff of Branson, Missouri; Patricia Ann Herber and husband Ted of Parkland; brother Bill Heizelman of Denton, Texas; sisters Maxine Burke of Bartlesville; and Rose Nugent of Cushing; grandchildren Jeanette Rogers and husband Jimmy; Kathy Clutter and husband Derek; David Herber, Amber Inskeep, Casi Long and husband Jordan; Tara Bowers and husband Aaron; and Brandon Inskeep; great grandchildren Alyssa and Zayne Bowers, Brady Colton Dee Inskeep, Mason and Taber Clutter.Marie is preceded in death by her husband David Anderson, daughter Betty Joe Anderson, parents and sister Pearl Mayall.Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, Oklahoma. Mr. Ted Herber will officiate.Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.
