EVELYN NELLIE AILEY
1913 - 2006


Evelyn Nellie Stiner Ailey, a Stroud resident, was born in Depew, Oklahoma on December 15, 1913 and departed this life in Prague, Oklahoma on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at the age of 92 years.
Evelyn was the daughter of John and Nettie Stuts Stiner.
She was a resident of Stroud most of her life. She was a homemaker and owned and operated Haile Greenhouse for many years, she loved to raise flowers and a garden, and was a member of the Milfay Baptist Church.
She married Elmer Haile in Belle Plains, Kansas. He preceded her in death.
She then married Loren Ailey in Depew, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, four brothers, two sisters and one grandson.
Survivors include one son, Bill Haile of Stroud, Oklahoma; one daughter, Mary Stafford of Derby, Kansas; one brother, Charles Stiner of El Dorado, Kansas; two sisters, Wanda Harrington of Stroud, Oklahoma and Beaulah Phipps of Chandler, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
Service will be 2:00 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Stroud with the Rev. Mark Haile officiating.
Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services, Stroud.
