FRANCES MAE ADKISSON
1928 - 2011


Frances Mae Little Adkisson was born on June 22, 1928, in Okemah, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, October 10, 2011, in Harrah, Oklahoma, at the age of 83.
Frances, the daughter of Elmer and Helen Icel Smith Little, was a long-time resident of Prague.
She married Bob Adkisson on June 3, 1947 in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death on June 19, 1990.
She worked for many years as a waitress.
Her parents and one brother also preceded Frances in death.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Karen Adkisson of Prague; daughters and sons-in-law, Stacia and David Huggins of Modesto, California, Sherri and Charlie Smith of Wellston, Sharla and Randy Seaton of Sparks, aunt, Kinis Bankston of Okemah, nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, as well as numerous friends.
The Adkisson family will receive friends at Parks Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday evening, October 13, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sand Creek Cemetery in Seminole County with Chaplain Les Hastings officiating.
