MAMIE LEATHA ADARE
1925 - 2006


Mamie Leatha Bishop Adare, a resident of Clovis, New Mexico, former Stroud, Oklahoma resident was born in Bigfoot, Texas on August 14, 1925 and departed this life in Clovis, New Mexico on Monday, February 13, 2006 at the age of 80 years.
Mamie was the daughter of Rufus and Maggie Belle Henderson Bishop.
She was a resident of Clovis, New Mexico since 1996, moving from Stroud, Oklahoma. Mamie was a member of the Church of Christ in Stroud, Oklahoma and was a homemaker.
She married Clifford W. Adare in Crystal City, Texas on September 22, 1945. He preceded her death on December 25, 1968.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include one son, Doug Adare and wife Caroline of Clovis, New Mexico, one daughter, Linda Spears and husband Marvin of Shreveport, Louisiana, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Stroud Cemetery with Loren Geiger officiating.
Service is under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Stroud.
