Beulah Fayee Young Flud

flud-b-f

January 24, 1936 ~ December 17, 2022

Beulah Fay Flud, 86, was born January 24, 1936 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Riley and Clara (Green) Young. She passed away peacefully December 17, 2022 in her home with her family by her side.

Beulah was a hard-working woman her entire life. She worked in the cotton and bean fields where she met and married her husband, James Flud. She was the best cook around and always gave to others well before she served herself. Many simply came to enjoy her famous sweet tea and pumpkin rolls. Beulah enjoyed going to Wal-Mart and yard sales followed by a waffle cone of her favorite Braum's ice cream. She was every child's "Grandma Flud". Most of all, Beulah loved her church and her family.

Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Clara Young; husband of 67 years, James Flud; son, Jerry Flud; daughter, Judy Manning; son-in-law, Jimmy Manning; granddaughter, Cindy Manning; brothers, Leon Young, John Young; and her sister, Lenora Anderson. Survivors include her son, Jimmy Flud of Oklahoma City; daughter-in-law, Barbara Terry of Oklahoma City; daughters, Diana Flud of Chandler, Kathy Long and her husband Scott of Denison, TX; son, Billy Flud and his wife Tami of Chandler; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Eula Lamar and her husband Ronald of Poteau; brother, Freddie Young and his wife Barbara of Sapulpa; along with many other family and friends.

A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Luther Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband on their anniversary. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
