Elizabeth Sarah Norton, of 305 E 9th St., Dewey, died at 2:55 a.m. Thursday in the Mission Hill Hospital in Shawnee.
Mrs Norton was born May 17, 1912, in Marion County AR, to Charles and Effie (Hutchinson) Jordan. She grew up and received her education in Arkansas and Missouri. Mrs Norton came to Oklahoma in 1933. She mader her Home in Ponca City and Arkansas City KS, most of that time. Mrs Norton Came to Dewey in February of 1980 to make her home.
Mrs Norton is survived by five daughters; Mrs Juanita Thurston, Dewey; Mrs. Orland {Jean} Mort, Miami; Mrs. Cleto LeClair, Ponca City; Mrs. Kim (Dorothy) Huckstep, St Charles MO; Mrs Avis Sears, Wichita KS; three sons; Charles Tiffany, Colombia MO; Melvin Chapman, Shawnee, KS; Jimmy Ray Jordan, Bartlesville; three brothers; Wayne Jord, Liveral KS; Clifford Jordan, Woodland CA; Cleo Jordan; Paden OK; eight sisters; Flossie Shaffner, Davenprot OK; Selva Carothers, Davenport OK; Johnie Ingram,Dugginsville MO; Pawnee Moore, Fayetteville AR; Bonnie Smith, Cordell; Thursie Goforth, Oklahoma CIty; Elvie Week Sparks; Shirley Weaver, Oklahoma CIty; 40 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs Norton will be ehld at 10 a.m. Monday int he Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Benefiel officiating. Graveside Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the Kellerby Cemetery, Arlington OK.
Funeral services and internment will be under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.
