Selva Caruthers, long-time Davenport, Oklahoma, resident, was born March 29, 1933, in Protem, Missouri, and departed this life February 20, 2017, in Davenport, at the age of 83 years.
Selva was the daughter of Charles and Effie (Hutchinson) Jordan. She married Harold Lynn Caruthers in 1955, at Davenport, Oklahoma. Selva was a homemaker, and long-time member of the Davenport First Assembly of God Church.
Her parents, one son, Jerry; nine brothers and sisters, and one great-grandson preceded Selva in death.
Survivors include, husband, Harold of the home, two sons and daughter-in-law, Robert Goforth of Davenport, Dan and Jamie Goforth of Davenport; one daughter; Jessica Goforth of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, Shirley Weaver of Oklahoma City, and Thersia Marson of Oklahoma City; twelve grandchildren, Zach, Lucas, Jazman, Alice, Marissa, Austin, Titus, Nika, Daniel, Madison, Collin, and Ethan; three great-grandchildren, Shana, Arianna, and Elizabeth; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 23, 2017, at the Davenport First Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Leon Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Kellerby Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
