Lloyd Charles Johnson was born in Fallin February 17, 1928 to Charles and Opal Johnson. He passed away January 1, 2010, always remaining optimistic and happy through a long struggle with health problems. He graduated from Norman High School in 1934, and went on to serve in the Navy from 1946 to 1948. He graduated from OCU in 1960 with a business degree. After a long carreer as an Air Force Auditor, he retired in 1988.
He married Geneva Marie Winkler on October 21, 1949. They were married 54 Years. He was a long time member on Nicoma Park Baptist Church serving as a deacon, greeter, and librarian. He enjoyed his family, traveling, eating, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a son, a granddaughter.
He is survived by one daughter, Diana Johnson of Del City, two sons, Bruce and wife Cindy of Oklahoma City, Mark and wife Dianna of Midwest City, Three grandaughters, Alicia and husband Matt Hunt of Oklahoma City, Caitlin and Lauren Johnson of Midwest City. Two great-grandsons, Ryan and Alex Hunt, and one great-granddaughter, Stacia Hunt. And his beloved dogs and constant companions, Holly and Annie, and countless friends and relatives. Services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at First Baptist Church Nicoma Park. Interment will follow at Jamison Cemetery in McLoud.
