Larry Wayne Fick was born December 25, 1951, to Jack and Betty Fick in Parkland, Oklahoma. He passed peacefully in his sleep February 27, 2024, at the age of 72.
He graduated from Agra High School in 1970. On June 12, 1970, Larry Fick and Irene Dahlke were united in marriage. However, Larry would be quick to tell you that he knew in elementary school he was going to marry her. He worked many jobs throughout his life and enjoyed working the land with heavy machinery. He served the community of Cushing for several years as a reserve police officer. He worked hard to provide for his family and finally retired as a self-employed truck driver.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, riding his motorcycle, and studying the Lord’s word. He was always quick to offer an encouraging word or help as needed. His smile and laugh would light up an entire room. He loved his family and enjoyed going to his grandkids’ sporting events and sharing his love of the outdoors with them.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Fick of the Cushing home; two daughters, Laresa Boyle and spouse Allen of Cushing, Kali Dunlap and spouse Jared of Stillwater; one son Mike Buck and spouse, Michelle of Perry; three sisters, Marsha Laxton and spouse Lennie of Agra, Teresa Allen and spouse David of Agra, Lesia Campbell and spouse Eric of Agra; two brothers, Jack Fick and spouse Becky of Agra, and Terry Fick; five grandchildren, Madison Boyle, Atticus Dunlap, Amelia Dunlap, Dillon Buck and spouse Destiny, Olivia Yunker and spouse Britton.
