Clohie Louise Wilson was born June 26, 1935 in Kendrick, Oklahoma to Troy and Myrtle (Harding) Lewis. She passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at St Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 85. She was the widow of William Jack Wilson, Sr.
Clohie left behind 3 natural children, Teresa Smith of Edmond, Tonya Herring and her husband Gary of Chandler, William Jack Wilson, Jr. and his wife Julie of Tryon; and 1 adopted son, Joshua Wilson of Davenport. Her legacy includes numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as 2 great-great-grandchildren along with her siblings, Bill Lewis of Davenport, James Lewis and his wife Leota of Davenport, Martha Berry of Chandler, Elizabeth Miller of Tulsa; and numerous nieces and nephew. Clohie opened her home to many more children over her lifetime. She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Myrtle Lewis; husband, William Jack Wilson, Sr.; brothers, Elmo Lewis, Ronald Lewis, George Lewis and Jerry Lewis; sisters, Barbara Wyse, Joyce Place.
Visitation will held from 2:00 till 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 29th at the Davenport First Baptist Church. A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 30th at the Davenport First Baptist Church with Brother Mike Mitchell officiating and interment following at the Davenport Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home in Wellston.
