ParaLee Louise (Franklin) Richardson was born July 16, 1935 in Wellston to Louis and Jessie (Beadles) Franklin. She passed away July 25, 2021 in Davenport at the age of 86.
ParaLee grew up north of Wellston until she moved to Chandler her senior year graduating with the class of 1953. She enjoyed basketball, softball, and writing which she later did for the Davenport New ERA for a time. ParaLee met Bobby Gene Richardson at the J&E Café and later married. They raised (3) children together and later adopted and raised (1) granddaughter.
ParaLee was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Jessie; husband of 51 years, Bob Richardson; daughters, Debra Cummings and her husband Alfred Cummings, Cynthia McElroy; granddaughters, April Richardson, Lori McElroy; brother, L.E. Franklin; sister, Mary Franklin. Survivors include her son, Billy Don Richardson and his wife Judy of Davenport; (4) grandchildren, Julie Brothers and her husband John of Owasso, J.R. Cummings and his wife Angela of Chandler, Brooke Jordan of Bartlesville, Lacy Davis and her husband Erick of Glenpool; (8) great-grandchildren, Curtis, Dawson, Jake, Easton, Cole, Cody, Alivia, Jace; brothers, Jim Franklin and his wife Joyce of Chandler, John Franklin of Texas; along with other family and friends.
A visitation will be held at Lehman Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. till noon, Tuesday, July 27, 2021. A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Church of Christ in Davenport with Reverend Don Fuchs officiating and interment following in the Davenport Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
