Kathy Phillips was an only child born June 16, 1936 in Chickasha to William and Betty (Haney) Humphrey. She passed away August 24, 2023 in her home in Kendrick at the age of 87.
Kathy was a servant of her Lord and dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Medicine Assistant. She enjoyed camping, traveling and all things with sugar. She loved going to sporting events with her grandchildren. She loved her family and wherever they were, she was too.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Betty Humphrey; and her husband of 40 years, Raymond Phillips, Jr. Survivors include her children, Cheryl Williams (Rocky) of Chandler, Sharon Miller (Curtis) of Jenks, Lisa Myers (David) of Okmulgee, Sandy Messer (Steve) of the home; (8) grandchildren, Stephanie Williams (Chris), Amanda Williams (Ryan), Alex Myers (Paisley), Caitie Steuart (Aaron), Sarah Miller, Slade Messer (Paige), Sloan Messer, Stran Messer; (6) great-grandchildren, Eric Lewis (LeAnn), Annie Williams, Cameron Lewis, Haley Williams, Gabbie Dawson, Maddie Marcus; (2) great-great-grandchildren, Preston Harmon, Paislyn Denwalt and one more on the way, Tulsen Lewis; along with other family and friends.
A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 28th, 2023 at the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Davenport Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
