Judy Marlene Lynch, 79, of Chandler, passed away peacefully in her home, on May 2, 2023. She was born in Davenport, Oklahoma, May 8, 1943, to the late Marcelous 'Sandy' and Vesta Royer of Stroud, Oklahoma. She was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County. Judy was preceded in death by Freddie, her beloved husband of 59 years, who passed away at their home in Chandler on May 29, 2020; and two sisters.
She is survived by her four sons; Jeff of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Scott of Chandler, Joel of Benton, Arkansas, and Robin of Nowata, Oklahoma; her sisters Sharon Cook and Sharlene Smith; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Judy was a mainstay in the Chandler banking industry for many years. Most notably, at Local Federal Savings and Loan where she made many friends and was known for a big smile and friendly laugh. Judy was active in the Davenport Alumni Association where she attended years of high school reunions and stayed connected with her lifelong friends. She loved her pets and enjoyed helping raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Judy spent her last days in the comfort and care of her grandson Nathan Lynch and his wife Tina for which the family owes a great debt of gratitude.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Davenport Cemetery, Davenport, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
