LINDA KAY SEDLACEK
1948 - 2004
Shawnee resident Linda Kay Sedlacek, 56, died Thursday, October 21, in Meeker.She was born August 21, 1948, in Shawnee to Freeman Evan "Ed" and Claudine Ledbetter-Underwood.She graduated Shawnee High School in 1966 and married Johnny Sedlacek August 31, 1968 in Shawnee. She lived in Meeker for 36 years.Linda worked at the Meeker school cafeteria as the cafeteria supervisor and retired after 20 years of service.She also was a homemaker and decorated cakes.A member of the Church of Christ, she was an active member of the Meeker community.Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Cecil Lessley and Orville Underwood and a sister, Wanda Smith.Survivors include her husband, Johnny Sedlacek III, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa Jonnelle and Tim Fullbright of Meeker; and Laura Deann and Matt Allison of Seminole; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey John and Angie Sedlacek of Meeker; nine grandchildren, Tracey, Jonnelle and Paige Fullbright; Dalton, Kaden and Davin Allison; Elizabeth, Jessica and Raceton Sedlacek; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and also brothers and sisters-in-law.Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Central Church of Christ with Doyle Loveland officiating.Burial will follow at Czech Cemetery in Prague under the direction of Gaskill Funeral Chapel.
