1911 - 2003
Raymond Joe Pechacek was born on August 18, 1911, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, December 11, 2003 in Prague, Oklahoma at the age of 92.Raymond was the son of Joseph and Emma Ladra Pechacek.A life-long resident of Lincoln County, he married Anna Emily Simek on December 26, 1932 in Prague.She preceded him in death on April 10, 1979.He also married Charlie Mae Wallis and Gladys Allen, both of whom preceded him in death.Raymond was a farmer, retired from Lincoln County where he worked as a heavy equipment operator, and was a member of the Western Fraternal Lodge.His parents; one son, Jodie; one brother; one sister; and one grandson also preceded Raymond in death.Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Tommie and Margie Edalene Pechacek of Prague, Oklahoma; one daughter-in-law, Joyce Pechacek of Chickasha, Oklahoma; one brother, Louis Walenta of Pryor, Oklahoma; one sister, Martha Irby of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 15, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague, Oklahoma, with Rev. Kevin Wehrli officiating.Interment will follow at Czech National Cemetery in Prague, Oklahoma.Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
