1917 - 2006
Lifelong Lincoln County resident Frank Holik, 88, departed this life on June 29, in Meeker.He was born on November 2, 1917, in Sparks to Joseph and Frances Teresa Navaritil Holik.He was a life-long resident of Lincoln county.He was married December 7, 1946, to Pansy Kate Conley.She preceded him in death on January 9, 2003.Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II.He retired from Tinker Air Force Base and was a member of the ZCBJ Lodge No. 46.After retirement Frank enjoyed farming, fishing and playing his musical instruments.He also was preceded in death by parents, seven brothers, and three sisters.Survivors include daughter, Nancy Ann Myers of Joplin, Missouri; grandchildren, Briggitta Thuma of Neck City, Missouri; Sara Clemmons and Veronica Dostal both of Joplin, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Kristin, Jackie, Katrina, Sierra, Megan, Walter John, Kimberly Abigail Dawn, Michael, Sara Nichole, and Christopher; three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Czech National Cemetery in Prague with the Rev. Starland Davis officiating.Following the service the family will receive friends in the family room of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.A guest book is available to share your memories online at www.ParksBrothers.net.
