1924 - 2011


Elise L. "Elsie" Krajicek Holasek was born on November 18, 1924, in Burlington, Texas, and departed this life on Sunday, August 28, 2011, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 86.
Elsie, the daughter of Rudolph and Marie Krajicek, was a resident of Oklahoma City.
She married Vernon Frank Holasek on April 9, 1948.
He preceded her in death on November 8, 2008.
Elsie was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church.
Her parents; brother, Bob Krajicek; sisters, Ann Stastny and Mary Pernicka, also preceded Elsie in death.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, James and Lana Holasek of Moore; David and Mona Holasek of Mustang; daughter and son-in-law, Doris and John Griggs of Oklahoma City; brother, Edward Krajicek of Seminole; sister, Betty Francis of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague with Father Price Oswalt officiating.
Interment will follow at the Czech National Cemetery in Prague.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
