Terrence Dwayne McPherson transitioned home to be with his Lord and Savior, in the early morning on September 08, 2024. He was the first child born to the union of Jessie J. McPherson Sr. and LaVonne L. (Glover) McPherson, on August 14, 1968, at University Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Terrence was baptized at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church in Wichita, Kansas. Throughout his whole life, he was dedicated to his faith. Even though his occupation required him to be on the road traveling, Pastor James Reed of Central Baptist Church (Chandler, Ok) would be his away from home spiritual influencer.
Terrence attended Wichita Kansas Public Schools, and Cloud Elementary School grades 1-6. He attended Pleasant Valley Junior High grades 7-9. Terrence Graduated Class of 1986 from Wichita South High School. Throughout his education, he participated on track & and basketball teams. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Army. He was a part of Company B, 1st Bn, 3d BT Bde, 1st Plt. training brigade. He completed his basic training at Fort Dix Training Center, Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was Honorably discharged.
Terrence completed his sheet metal fabrication certificate with Boeing Aircraft Company in Wichita, Kansas. Terrence Worked as a Dump truck operator with Sedgwick County (Wichita) Maintenance Department Division. He attended Aurora Community College in Colorado.
After gaining over the road trucking experience, Terrence dreamed of owning his own truck and company. He started Rabbit Transportation LLC. He accumulated over 30 years of experience over the road. He was lastly employed by Aifleet Motor Vehicle Company.
Terrence enjoyed classic chevy cars and motorcycles. He at one time was an affiliate of Phantom Squad FTW/Dallas Motorcycle Club.
Terrence married Sonya (Carney) McPherson in Wichita Kansas. A second marriage to Tonya (Cooper) McPherson of Denver Colorado.
Terrence is survived by his mother & father, and brother Jessie McPherson Jr. (Chandler, Ok). Eldest daughters Kiesha Larraga (Wichita, Ks), Tyshel McPherson (Katy, Tx) Son, Major McPherson (Bossier City, La) nephew, Rhomelo Knight (cypress, Tx) Sisters- Ora Williams (Okc,Ok) Sylvia Hollins (Phoenix, Az) Chandra McCartney- Asia(Wichita, Ks) Crystal Fowler McCartney (Wichita, Ks) Antuane McPherson Sr., Malika McPherson(Wichita, Ks) Grand Children- Angelo Carter, Jordan Pruitt Jr, Dash Burnley, Jessie Pruitt, Phenix Rudd, Legend Louis, and Khalil McPherson Bonus Daughters- Imani McLean, Ayana McLean, and Corrisa McPherson(daughter in-law) Bonus Grand Children-Davion Godley, David Godley, Kaiden McClean, and Armani Fontenot; A host of nieces and nephews he loved dearly, and cousins and extended family he Cherished.
Preceding him in death-Son Tyrel McPherson, Grandparents Sylvester & Helen Glover (Chandler, Ok) and Tommie & Margaret McPherson (Wichita, Ks).
