Fredrick Robert Zaske, II, "Rob" was born May 10, 1953, in San Francisco, California to Fredrick Robert Zaske, I, and Emily (Huffield). He passed away July 21, 2024, in Oklahoma City at the age of 71. Rob served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era as a military police officer. He continued his career in law enforcement and served as a Lincoln County Deputy for many years. Rob enjoyed cooking and barbequing for his family. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with his great-grandchildren.
Rob was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Steve, Rick and Kurt Zaske. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Glenneta of the home; children, Kelly Zaske-George (Jerry) of Alabama, Stacy Knox (David) of Carney, Fredrick Robert Zaske, III "Bo" (Tiffany) of Carney; (11) grandchildren, Nicholas George (Taylor), Jocob George, Lauren George-Jensen (Dalton), Bailey Stever (Chris), David Knox (Amber), Morgan Knox (Jamicia), J.R. Knox (Ashton), Fredrick Robert Zaske, IV "Wyatt" (Andi), Emma Zaske-Swindell (Aiden), Hudson Zaske, Michael Meads (Kearsten); (12) great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Witcher (Jim); along with many other family members and friends.
A memorial graveside funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Carney Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
