Betty Jo Tullius passed from this life May 31, 2020 at the age of 91. She was born January 14, 1929 in Wellston, OK to Jennie J. Hagar (Hayes) and Samuel Perry Hagar.
Betty graduated from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City. She married Eldon Pinkston on November 15, 1949 and they were blessed with two children, Barbara and David. Betty and Eldon enjoyed 34 years of marriage together prior to Eldon’s passing in 1983. Betty later married Ken Tullius. They were blessed with 7 years of marriage together prior to Ken’s passing in 1999. Betty worked as a receptionist at Smith Industries for 5 years and later worked at Resthaven Funeral Home for 7 years.
Betty loved traveling and had many favorite destinations throughout the world. In addition, she and Ken also enjoyed traveling in their RV together. Betty also enjoyed going for walks and shopping. Above all, she cherished her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Betty lived a Christian life and loved her Lord. One of her most favorite things was going to church and she loved her church family at Moore Bible Church.
She was preceded in passing by her parents, Jennie J. Hagar (Hayes) and Samuel Perry Hagar; husband, Eldon Pinkston; husband, Ken Tullius; and twin sister, Letty Smith.
Those left to continue her legacy include her daughter, Barbara Wagoner; son, David Pinkston and wife Rhonda; grandchildren, Jennifer Wagoner, Dan Wagoner and wife Sandra, Brian Pinkston and wife LaDonna, and Kirt Pinkston and wife Amber; great-grandchildren, Sean Wagoner, McKenzie Wagoner, Jessica Pinkston, Emilee Pinkston, and Isla Pinkston; and great-great-grandchild, True Wagoner.
Visitation for Betty is 3:00pm to 7:00pm, Wednesday, June 3, 2020 and Thursday, June 4, 2020. A graveside ceremony will take place at 11:00am, Friday, June 5, 2020 at Carney Cemetery in Carney, OK.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Moore Bible Church.
