Alpha Lee Coker Trowbridge

Atha Lee (Coker) Trowbridge was born March 12, 1937 in Hydro, Oklahoma to Clifford and Ethel (Duck) Coker. She passed away November 26, 2023 in Stillwater at the age of 86.

Atha was funny all the time with her witty dry sense of humor. She enjoyed playing card games, sewing, crochet, gardening, canning, cooking and baking pies. She owned and operated Special Touch in Carney until her retirement at 80 years of age. She was a Notary Public until just last year. Atha loved holidays and being together with her family. She was loved and will be remembered as a mother of 6, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Atha was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Ethel Coker; husband of over 61 years, Mac Trowbridge; daughter, Sheila Cochran; siblings, Wayne Coker, JoAnn Chapman; great-grandson, Nathan Beeson; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Trowbridge. Survivors include her children, Gwen and her husband Melvin Skaggs of Chandler, Robert Trowbridge of Yukon, Neal Trowbridge and his wife Cindy of Perkins, Tamara Stokes of El Reno, Lanell Hobbs of New Mexico; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other family and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. with the family present to great friends from 4-6. A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Carney Cemetery.
