Juanita Ann (Watson) Nely was born April 6, 1943, in Fisk, Missouri to Brady and Abbie (Tucker) Watson. She passed away October 4, 2024, in Edmond at the age of 81.
Juanita grew up around Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She worked hard and took care of her family before all things. Juanita fostered many children throughout her life including some children from other counties. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren compete in barrel races and goat shows. Juanita was family oriented and never backed down from speaking her mind.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Brady and Abbie Watson; husband, Frank Nely; brother, Brady Watson, Jr.; and her nephew, Brady Watson, III. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Nely, Amanda Nely, Sylvia nelly; grandchildren, Frankie Elizabeth Nely, Frankie Ray Butler, Jannisty Lewis; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Nova along with other family and friends.
A graveside funeral was held Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at the Carney Cemetery with Pastor Bo Gibbs officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston..
