Glenda Diane Carter a longtime resident of Carney Oklahoma passed away at her home on August 28, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Perkins, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held on September 2, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home In Perkins, Oklahoma, interment will follow at the Carney Cemetery in Carney, Oklahoma.
Diane was born December 4, 1949 in Dallas, TX. Diane was born to Robert and Eva (Triplett) Woods. She was a dedicated wife and mother; she was a co-truck driver with her husband Larry. After that the two of them ran a very successful plumbing company, when Larry retired they moved to Perkins.
Diane went to work at the Iowa tribe smoke shop; she worked there many years until her illness caused her to retire.
Diane is survived by one daughter: Linda Kitchel and husband Doug, one sister: Linda Durbin of Texas, one brother: Ronnie Woods, seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren, well as many nieces and nephews and a host of friends, and family.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband Larry, two sons, her parents, six brothers and one sister.
