Douglas Edmond Allen, age 64, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Friday, January 2, 1959, to Kenneth and Helen Louise (Johnson) Allen, at Coalgate, OK.Douglas passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Atoka, OK. He graduated from Atoka High School with the Class of '77. Douglas did mechanic work along with paint and body. He married Mary Suezann Wood on Friday, August 6th, 1982 at Coalgate Presbyterian Church. Douglas was of the Baptist Faith and a member of the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed painting cars, fishing, camping, dancing, and hanging out with his family.

Douglas is survived by his wife Mary Suezann (Wood) Allen of the home; sons, Jerrard Allen and Christina of Wards Chapel, OK, Phillip Taylor Allen of Wards Chapel, OK; daughters, Mandy Crites and husband Carl of Lehigh, OK, Crystal Allen Ridgeway of Colorado; grandchildren, Ayden, River, Marley, Jagger, Jaden, Josiah and Alyssa, Michelle, Lucas and Jessie, Rebecca, Dalton; great grandchildren, Ronan Ridgeway and one on the way; sisters, Connie Moreland and husband IB, Louann Hand; sisters in law, Kay Burns and husband Danny Ray, Megan Wood, Becky Atkinson; brothers in law, Jake Wood, John Wood and wife Tori, Marc Wood; mothers in law, Brenda Wood, Shirley Marcum; special niece, Samantha Wood; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other dearly loved family members.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Helen Louise (Johnson) Allen; brother, Kenny Allen; father in law, Phillip Wood; brother in law, Henry Wood; nephews, Brian Moreland, Ransom Wood, Riley Cottrell
