Harley Barnes, 90, of Poteau, passed away December 26, 2010.
He was born
September 2, 1920, in Summerfield.
He was a self-employed hotel businessman and real estate investor.
He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Fay Barnes, and two brothers, Troy Barnes and George Barnes.
He is survived by a son and
daughter-in-law, Vaughn and Traci Barnes of Poteau; a daughter Ycenna Finnigan
Braly and husband Robert of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Ray Barnes of Webbers
Falls, and James Barnes of Searcy, Ark; a sister Larease Bryan of Wilburton;
three grandchildren, Brandon Finnigan, Amanda Barnes, and Kristi and husband
Benny O'Dell; four great grandchildren; numerous other relatives, friends and
loved ones.
Graveside services will be conducted December 29, at 10 a.m. at Summerfield
Cemetery, Summerfield with Brother Jeff Little officiating.
Pallbearers will be
Terry Manlove, Kendal Repass, Hardy Coston, Vaughn Barnes, and Brandon Finnigan.
Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, is in charge of arrangements
