Norma Lea "Connie" Hernandez Obit


Norma Lea "Connie" Hernandez, 64, a waitress, of Poteau, died Sunday, June 20, 1999, in Poteau.
She was born Sept. 13, 1934, in Shady Point.
She is survived by her daugther, Iris Eldredge of Poteau; two sons, Alejandro Hernandez of Poteau and Terry Smith of Poteau; father and step-mother, Norman and Goldie Guin of Shady Point; sister, Mary Ann Fout of Shady Point; three grandchildren, Sheryl Eldredge, Casey Eldredge, and Andres Hernandez; and two great-grandchildren, Leondra Eldredge and Courtney Veercamp.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 22, at Shady Point Cemetery, Shady Point, with burial following there. Rev. Jim Cook will officiate.
Arrangements were under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
