Leonard T. Willingham was born to Toliver Brooks and Martha Louisa Jones Willingham on May 22, 1904 in LeFlore County, Oklahoma. Leonard passed away December 15, 1994 in Pasadena, Texas he was 90 years of age.
Leonard and Aurbie K. Hood were married November 12, 1923 in LeFlore County, Oklahoma.
They moved to Wasco and Bakersfield area of Califonia in 1944. They lived there some 35 years , he retired from Maple Leaf Farms in 1969.
In 1979 he and his surviving wife, Aurbie Katherine Willingham of LaPorte, Texas moved to that area. Survivors include Aurbie his wife of 71 years, daughter Gladys and husband David Oaks of LaPorte, four sons and daughter in laws, J.B and Jennie Willingham of Bakersfield , California, Gene and Lois Wilingham of Canadian, Oklahoma, Elton Willingham of LaPorte, Texas and Carl and Pat Willingham of Aspermont, Texas.
Two brothers Virgil Willingham of Poteau, Oklahoma and Burl Willingham of Maysville, Oklahoma. 19 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a host of step grandchildren and numerous neices and nephews. Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m, with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.Tuesday December 20, 1994 at Shady Point, Oklahoma Cemetery
