Dan Earl Woodson , M.D., passed away June 4, 1993.

Born to Earl M. Woodson, M.D. and Faye Scott Woodson July 4, 1927, in Poteau, Oklahoma.

Survivors include wife, Jan; 3 sons, The Rev. Thomas J. Woodson, PhD and wife Kimberly, Mark R. Woodson, M.D. and wife Alexa, and Michael E. Woodson and wife Denise; 3 granddaughters; 2 brothers, Honorable Charles S. Woodson and wife Betty, Jack Woodson, D.D.S.; and his father, Earl M. Woodson, M.D.

He attended Poteau High School, Oklahoma Military Academy, graduated from University of Oklahoma 1948 and University of Tennessee Medical School in 1957.

He practiced medicine in Okla. City for 25 years. Dan was a member and Deacon of Putnam City Baptist Church where services will be held Monday, June 7, at 10:00 a.m., interment at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, Ok, at 5:00 p.m. Dan's quick wit and humor will be missed by his friends and family.
