Terry Wayne Earley, 52, of Poteau, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002. He was born Feb. 1, 1950 at Hillsboro, Ohio, to William Earley and Wilma (Storer-Earley) Robinette and graduated from Miami Trace High School in Washington Court House Ohio in 1968. He was active in the administrative office of the National Junior Chamber of Commerce in Tulsa, and was selected as one of the Ten Most Outstanding Young Men in Ohio. He also served as safety officer for several petroleum companies in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Poteau and avid about helping the disabled.
He was preceded in death by his father; and maternal grandparents, Everett and Letha Storer.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Rene' (Petie) (Williams) Earley; one daughter, Samantha Earley of the home; three sons, Anthony Wayne Earley of Washington C.H., Matthew and wife Michelle Earley of Antlers and Jody and Mandy Earley of Tulsa; his mother, Wilma (Storer) Robinette and stepfather, Donald Robinette Sr. of Jeffersonville, Ohio; four brothers, Donald and wife Rajean Robinette Jr. of Washington C.H., Gayland and wife Mamie Robinette of Oklahoma City, Jeff and wife Karen Robinette of Sabina, Ohio and Kevin and wife Valerie Robinette of Jeffersonville; two sisters, Debbie and husband Jay Anderson of Washington C.H. and Karen and husband Anthony Shackleford of Hebron, Ky.; two grandchildren, Makayla Earley and Tyler James Earley; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6 at Grace Manor Funeral Home in Poteau.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Southside Baptist Church in Poteau with Pastors Dale Rogers and Garry Haskins officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Poteau under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
