Nancy E. White Wood Sloan left this world to go jitterbug with Jesus on December 22, 2015. Born and raised in Poteau, OK, attended Poteau High School where she was a member of The Caddy Club. She then left her beloved Poteau and went on to graduate from Oklahoma A&M (now Oklahoma State University). She celebrated her 50+ years as a Zeta and continued her involvement with annual trips to speak with current members.

Nancy found her gift in sales! She began her real estate career in the early 70’s and it didn’t take long for her to realize she wanted to run her own company. She co-founded Group One Real Estate and was a very successful ‘million dollar’ producer and broker. She loved her high heels and was involved with CPA Wives, Oklahoma City Metropolitan Association of REALTORS, INC., OKC Ski Club, The Green’s Golf and Country Club and Ladies Bridge Club, Red Hat Club, Book Club and a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.

Nancy was preceded in death by her grandfather, lovingly known as ‘Big Daddy’, William P. Forbes, Her father, Alex White, and her Mother “Grandmommie”, Dorothy Forbes White. Nancy is survived by: Her husband Winsel G. Sloan, her 3 daughters; Amy Wood Booher and husband Don Booher Jr., Nancy Wood Nida and Laurie Wood Allen and husband John Allen. Nana was blessed and loved her precious grandchildren: Caroline Booher Miller and Rex Miller, Haley Booher Evans and Dr. Blake Evans, Carley Booher Legan and Holt Legan, Jessica Nida Wright and Hunter Wright, Natalie Nida Hardin and Andrew Hardin, Christina Allen and John William Allen. Also survived by: Kim Wood Collins and Jim Collins, Vicky Sloan Calhoun, Pamela Sloan Pospisil, Tony and Sharon Sloan. Grandchildren: Brooke and Dacie Calhoun, Meagan Calhoun, Kristin Pospisil, Alex and Jennifer Pospisil, and 8 great-grandchildren.
