Delbert Middlebrook

SHADY POINT - Delbert Johnnie Middlebrook, 89, of Shady Point died Tuesday, July 2, 2002, in Poteau. He was born Aug. 7, 1912, in Rockwell, Texas.
He was a farmer and rancher, a member of First United Methodist Church in Poteau, the Heavener Masonic Lodge No. 154 and the American Legion in Wister.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Grace Manor Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Poteau with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau.
He is survived by his wife, Opal; two daughters, Ruth Ann Imre and Anita Duchat, both of Shady Point; two sons, Billy Jack Chastain of Snyder, Texas and Willie Don Middlebrooks of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a sister, Audra Elliot of Lubbock, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
