Eva Lewis Brooks, 64, of Howell, Oklahoma died Tuesday in an automobile accident at Warner, Oklahoma.
She is survived by three daughters, Maxene Long of Amarillo, Texas; Helen Attaway of Reydon, Oklahoma; and Loretta Earle of Craig, Colorado; a son Kenneth Lewis of Craig, Colorado; a stepson John Henry Brooks of Elk City, Oklahoma; four sisters, Lillie Hendricks of Sayre, Oklahoma; Meriam Fortner of Bossier City, Louisiana; Virginia Chane of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Orpha Martinez of Barstow, California; also a brother Even Wickham of Aslington, Texas; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday September 2, 1983 at Evans Chapel of Memories of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Interment was at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, Oklahoma.
