Graveside services for Billie Wood were held at 2 pm, Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Nubbin Ridge Cemetery, Bokoshe, OK. under direction of Evans and Miller of Poteau.

Billie Beatrice Coleman was born on April 24, 1914 in Shady Point, OK to William Henry & Olla (Henderson) Coleman and passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2009 in Spiro, OK.

Beatrice taught school during the war and worked at Hamlin Manufacturing Company. She was a member of the Spiro Church of Christ. She was a wonderful homemaker who loved sewing, gardening, & painting pictures. She was lovingly known as "Grandma Wood".

She is survived by 2 daughters & son-in-law, Joella & Odell Clark, Sue & Bill Marler of Spiro, OK; son & daughter-in-law, James & Jan Wood of Spiro, OK; 10 grandchildren, Larry Clark of Tahlequah, OK, Teri & Scott Wyatt of Edmond, OK, Ron & Kathy Clark of Castle Rock, CO, Jill & Lou Garcia of St. Louis, MO, Jamie & Sabrina Wood of Stillwater, OK, Julie Wood of Oklahoma City, OK, Dena & Chris Brickey of Durango, CO, Pat & Heather Garner of Spiro, OK, Buffy & Greg Kephart of Harrison, AR, Kerrie Wood of Odessa, TX; 15 Great Grandchildren; other relatives & loved ones; a host of beloved friends.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Wood; a son, Bobby Wood; 2 brothers; 1 sister; and her parents.
