Ronnie Weatherford, 59, of Stigler, passed away January 28, 2011 in Stigler. He was born September 24, 1951 in Mount Home, Ark. He was the owner of Wilkett Trucking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Anna Lillian Small Weatherford; and one sister, Lorita Greer.

He is survived by his wife, Connie of the home; one daughter, Roni Anna Marie Weatherford of Stigler; three sons, Ronald Jeff Weatherford of Colbert, Christopher Weatherford of Belton, Texas, Stephen Patrick Weatherford of Stigler; two sisters, Anita Caraway of Norfork, Ark., Juanita Yancy of Medford, Oreg.; one brother E.J. Weatherford of Norfork, Ark.; five grandchildren; numerous other relatives, friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be conducted January 30 at 2 p.m. at mallory Chapel with Rev. Don McAlvain and Rev. John Titsworth officiating. Interment will follow in Nubbin Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Wade, Ed Shepherd, Billy Cleveland, David Huggins, Rick McCarroll, Rick Bumpers, Charlie Davis, and Donnie Holman. Honrary pallbearers will be former Stigler Pirates baseball team members, Jim Smith, Bill Jordan, Bob Wilkett, and Doug Martin.
