Dallas Wayne Seeley of Talihina, Oklahoma passed from this life November 23, 2019 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 66.

Dallas was born in McAlester, Oklahoma June 5, 1953. He was raised by Ickney Wesley Seeley and grew up playing sports in school. When he was 17, he entered the U.S. Army, serving for two tours in Vietnam with the 7th calvary Division where he was awarded 3 bronze stars the Vietnam Campaign ribbon for his heroism valor and good conduct. After his discharge from the Army, Dallas came back home and even though he began to experience the affects of exposure to Agent Orange he spent his time going bulldogging, being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved animals (especially horses) and he loved to go fancy dancing. Through the years he worked as a CNA at Choctaw Nation Health Care Center, as a deputy for Latimer County Sheriffs Office and as a truck driver. Dallas loved to shoot the bull and most days you could find him in town talking and carrying on with whoever he could find. He was very good natured, kind hearted and always quick to help out anytime that he could. He was very proud to have served his country in Vietnam, his community as a law enforcement officer and he was a very good man who was very proud of his Choctaw heritage.

He is preceded in death by his parents Crawford Billy and Ickney Seeley, his first wife Emmy and two sisters Pauline Fish and Christine Billy.

He leaves behind a loving family that includes his wife Cynthia of the home, step children Brandon Clement of McAlester and Elisha Ivey of Boaz, Alabama grandchildren Jayden Clement and Katie Rose brother Eugene Coley and sister Cecilia Garcia as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2019 at Burkhart Funeral Service of Talihina. Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Burkhart Funeral Service of Talihina with Raymond Johnson officiating.
