Bobby Woods, 55, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born Dec. 6, 1944, in Spiro, to Floyd and Oma (Davis) Woods. He loved to fish, collect coins and Indian artifacts. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Elsie Blevens, Lorene Wilson, Ruth Woods, and Ethelene Woods; and one brother, Oscar Woods. Mr. Woods is survived by two sisters, Edna Green of Van Buren, Ark., and Betty Master-son of Spiro; three brothers, Jimmy Woods of Spiro, Johnny Woods of Pocola, and Frankie Woods of Tulsa; one aunt, Alta Masterson; several nieces, nephews, and other family members; and a host of friends. Viewing will be 8:30 a.m.- 8 p.m. Jan. 15 and noon-8 p.m. Jan. 16 , 8:30 a.m. to service time Jan. 17. Services will 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 17, at the Mallory Chapel with Dr. Jeff Lamp officiating.
Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro. Arrangements are under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro. Pallbearers will be Jerry Girty, Blue Mackey, Randy Hilbers, Mike King, Don Ingram, and A. M. Collins.
Honorary pallbearers will be all employees from Bob and Ellie's Cafe.
