Bobbie Beasley Fox age 80 of Purcell, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018 in Shawnee.
Bobbie was born September 25, 1937 in Talihina, Oklahoma. Her parents were Jack Sanderson and Charlotte Dukes. Bobbie grew up in Whitesboro, OK and attended Whitesboro High School. In 1955 she married Howard “Buddy” Beasley and together they raised two daughters, Elesa and Tonja. Bobbie and Howard lived in Hatfield, Arkansas for nearly 20 years and Shawnee, for 12 years. Bobbie worked hard as a homemaker and later as an Insurance Clerk in the Medical Field for many years. After Howard passed away in 1989, Bobbie remarried Jerry Fox in 1994 and moved to Purcell where she was living today. While married to Jerry, Bobbie enjoyed traveling with him to Rodeos throughout Oklahoma while he worked as a Rodeo Announcer. For the past 12 years just to have something to do, Bobbie and her sister-in-law Pat worked together cleaning the Purcell City Hall and Purcell Police station. Bobbie’s favorite thing to do was spending time with her family, going out to eat and going to the casinos.
She was preceded in death by: Husbands, Buddy Beasley on Oct. 2, 1989, Jerry Fox on Dec. 18, 2012; Father, Jack Sanderson, Mother, Charlotte Barrett, Sister, Virginia Kennedy, Brother, Ed Barrett;
She is survived by: Two daughters, Elesa Feltham of Purcell, Tonja Kennedy and husband Leslie of Whitesboro, OK; Two stepsons, Terry Fox and wife Diane of Juliet, TN Michael Fox and wife Kim of Juliet, TN; Sister, Wanda Crow of Prague, OK, Brother, Buddy Lee Barrett of Sacramento, CA; Three grandchildren, Athena West, Joshua West and wife Lynee, Harmony McCray and husband Grant; Five great grandchildren, Ivy, Savanah, Lilly, Nathan and Matthew. One step grandson, Caleb Ray Fox; Brothers and sisters-in-law, Butch and Pat Fox, Betty Barrett, Joyce and Carl Wilson, Dorothy Martin and Mary Moss. Also many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, Feb. 9, 2018 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell.
A Committal services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, Feb, 10, 2018 at Muse Cemetery in Muse, Oklahoma.
