Mr. Billy Willard Barron, 85, of Muse. passed away Friday, April 20th, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Barron was born in Muse, Oklahoma on July 23, 1926, the son of the late Grover C and Nancy J (Reid) Barron. He served in the US Air force and was proud of the time he was in service. He later married Betty Jo Wright. She preceded him in death on February 21, 2011. He enjoyed his family and the time he spent fishing with his sons and the catfish dinners they would fix for him. He was a member of the Muse Baptist Church, American Quarterhorse Association and Horse Race Association. He retired from Weyerhaeuser Company as a tresspass man. He enjoyed being a rancher. Billy will be remembered as always having a smile.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Betty and granddaughter, Nancy Kay Barron.
He is survived by his sons; Russell Barron of Talihina, Michael and Leiann Barron of Mena, Arkansas, and Ricky Barron of Muse,Oklahoma, grandchildren; Lisa Davis, Michael Barron, Joe Barron, B.J. Barron, Russell Barron, Bandy Barron, Lindsey Mausby, Maverick Barron and Rikki Barron, great grandchildren, Kinley Barron, Jayde Tidwell, Brook Davis, Briley Barron, Michelle Barron, Messina Barron, Shaye Barron, Kaitlen Kupec, Saddler Barron, Hunter Tidwell, Schayla David, Ethan Hust, Merissa Barron, Makala Barron and Jackson Barron,sisters; Clevan DeHart, Thelma Lowther and Frankie Bilby.
Pallbearers for the service will be Paul Robertson, Hugh Graham, Vern Hunter, Paul Dorsey, Ricky Barron and Denver Johnson.
Services will be held Monday, April 23, 2012, 10 a.m. at the Muse Baptist Church with Carrol Fitzgerald officiating.
Interment will follow at the Muse Cemetery under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.
