Sybil Lucille Barkley, 79, of Bokoshe, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, in Muskogee. She was a teacher and case worker. Mrs. Barkley was born June 25, 1921 at Albion to Everett and Nezzabee (Skates) Bledsoe.
She was preceded in death by her Husband James Ray Barkley, Her parents; one daughter, Sharon Faith Tackett and one brother, Howard Bledsoe.
Survivors include one son, Van Paul Barkley and his wife, Bernice of Muskogee; one sister, Reba Hance of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren, Charles Ray Tackett, Billy David Tackett, Roy Steven Tackett, Paula Ruth Darneal, Sharon Kay Tackett, Karen Marie Reeves, Sharon Faye Davis and Tiffany Ann Daniels; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 P.M. Tuesday, Dec. 19 at the Assembly of God in Bokoshe with the Rev. Lynn Bullard and the Rev. Ernest Owen officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler.
Pallbearers will be Grady Aary, Tim Pierson, James Fesperman, John Bell, Herman "Dub" Tolbert, R.C. Culwell, Hershell Miller, and Chris Davis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rene Tackett, Kody Tackett, Casey Tackett, Rebecca Tackett, Jackie Tackett, Amy Tackett, Bethany Tackett, Amber Darneal, Michael Tackett, Taylor Daniels and Robert Reeves
