Mina Lee (Williams) (Miller) (Fisher) Williams

Mina Lee Williams died on January 4, 2023, at her home in Bache, Oklahoma. During her last days, she was surrounded by loving friends, family members, and caregivers.
 

Mina was born on November 13, 1926, near the communities of Ludlow and Honobia in the heart of the Kiamichi Mountains during pioneer days.  Her parents were Billy and Emmer Williams who were among the first settlers in the area.  She was number seven out of eight children.

Mina married Otis Miller and they had a son, Wingo Miller.   She later married Lonnie Fisher and they had a daughter, Delores Fisher (Scott).  Mina and Lonnie moved to the McAlester area in 1954.  She worked at Seamprufe, Komar, Elsing’s Manufacturing and retired from Rockwell International.

After Lonnie died, Mina married Jaciel Williams. After Jaciel’s death,  she stayed on the farm and continued to work at Rockwell and raise cattle and honeybees, which is how she met her friend and 18- year companion, B.A. Perona.
 

Mina was an active member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in McAlester and loved her church family.
 

Mina was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers and one sister; her husband’s, Lonnie Fisher and Jaciel Williams; her friend, B.A. Perona and her son Wingo Miller.
 

Mina is survived by her daughter, Delores (Fisher) Scott and husband, Ernie, of Bache, OK, her daughter-in-law, Patsy Miller, of Bache, OK, her grandchildren Rick Myskey of Fayetteville, NC, Robin Myskey of Bache, OK, Wade Miller of Howe, OK, and step-grandson, Rick Scott and wife Stephanie of Cashion, OK. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Mack Myskey, Kourtney Myskey, Lance Myskey, Lilly Myskey, Liana Myskey, Logan Eiermann, Lauren Branch, Quinten Scott, Katie Scott and Lynden Scott. She is also survived by several special nieces and nephews and great-grandchildren.
 

A celebration of Mina’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023, at the First Free Will Baptist Church in McAlester, Ok. with Rev. Steve Mayhew officiating.

Burial will be at the Ludlow Cemetery at 3:30.

Visitation will be at Brumley Mills Funeral Home from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 8, 2023.
