Gail Morrison, 76, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, September 7, 2012 in Poteau.
Gail was born August 4, 1936 in Red Oak, OK to Alvin & Ila B. (McAlester) Ramer. She was an LPN. Gail was a member of Summerfield Baptist Church and attended Trinity Baptist Church in Poteau.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step father, Alfred McGowen; husband, Elva L. Morrison; 3 brothers, Norval Ramer, Billy Ramer & Johnny McGowen.She liked to cook, shop, travel & take care of people. Gail loved her family.
Survivors include her sisters & brothers in law, Sue & Ronnie Burke of Broken Bow, OK, Phyllis & Rick Sanders of Howe, OK; brother & sister in law, Herman & Linda McGowen of Summerfield, OK; 8 nieces, Sheryl Ford, Michelle Earls, Carolyn Sanders, Misti Roath, Melissa Caldwell, Kaylee Roath, Kloee Roath, Kinzler Caldwell; 9 nephews, Keith Shearer, Keifer Shearer, Shawn Goad Jr., Waylon Goad, Chris Copeland, Hagen Earls, Hadlee Earls, Brex Caldwell, Shayne Mead; special friend, Debbie Janway; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Monday, September 10, 2012 at Summerfield Baptist Church, Summerfield, OK with Rev. Charles Caughern & Rev. Leroy Billy officiating.
Interment will follow in Fanshawe Cemetery, Fanshawe, OK.Pallbearers will be Keith Shearer, Shawn Goad Jr., Waylon Goad, Chris Copeland, Jason Roath, Justin Earls, Dan Caldwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Curtis, Veachel Davis, and Bryan Hoggatt.
