Wanda Lucille Goff

Wanda Lucille Powell Goff, 57, of Shady Point, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2001. She was born July 8, 1944 in Hinton to James and Edith Powell. She was a pastor of Community Church in Shady Point and worked in home health.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, James Chester; her parents; and two brothers, William and Ronnie Powell.
Survivors include her husband Willie of the home; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Pamela and Jim Lollis of Henryetta, Priscilla and Joe Estep of Haskell and Lrinda and Chris Peterson of Tahlequah; six brothers and sisters-in-law, Lonnie Allen and Ginger Powell of Bonham, Texas, Johnny Andrew and Linda Powell of Buena Vista, Colo., Carl and Judy Powell of New Caney, Texas, Larry and Sandy Powell of Hulbert, James Powell Jr. of Haskell and Lyndell and Sue Powell of New Mexico; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 at Pentecostal Church of God in Panama with the Revs. Don Benefield and Harold Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery at Panama under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
