David “Super Dave” Dewayne Montgomery, 62, of Red Oak, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 28 2023, at the First Baptist Church of Red Oak with Reverend Jason Lloyd officiating.

The burial of cremains will follow the service at North Rock Creek Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Nixon, Robbie Montgomery, Levi Montgomery, Matt Montgomery, and Devon Nelson.

David was born on November 17, 1960 in Red Oak, Oklahoma to Francis Montgomery and Billie (Revis) Montgomery.

David was a hard-working, and loyal man who always helped anyone in need. You did not mess with his children. He was an amazing man, a jack-of-all-trades, with an ornery side. He had a green thumb and could grow anything. David had a talent for being able to “fix anything”, and if he couldn’t, well he would just figure it out.

There was just so much that he liked to do, from working outside, cooking, helping others with odd jobs, and opening his door for someone who had no place to go. Most of all he loved his kids, and grandkids more than anything.

David is survived by his children: Britney Noggle and Tony of Red Oak, Amanda Montgomery Nelson and Devon of Red Oak, Eric Montgomery of Tulsa, Emilie Montgomery of Tulsa, Destiny Montgomery of Red Oak, and Ashton Montgomery of Red Oak; his grandchildren: Cadden, Breanna, Hunter, Xaden, Wyatt, Emerald, Aylee, and Delayna; his great grandchildren: Amarii, Ja’Kiah, and Rhyen; his brothers and sisters: Marvin, Johnny, Kenneth, Keith, Shirley, Gloria, Judie, and Susanne; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Francis and Billie (Revis) Montgomery; two sisters: Tincy, and Paula; and brothers: Larry, Robert, and Ellis.
